Email Specialist
12-24 month contract
Salt Lake City, Utah Hybrid
This position aims to help bring God's children unto Jesus Christ by increasing understanding of His Church and its divinely appointed responsibilities of assisting in gathering Israel on both sides of the veil and preparing the world for the Second Coming of the Savior.
The Email Specialist is an entry-level role that creates and manages products that reach a variety of audiences to further the mission of the Church by inviting all to come unto Christ. The focus of the Product Manager is on meeting the needs of the customer audience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with team members and stakeholders throughout the organization on Church email communications.
- Ensure communications align with Church communication strategies.
- Shepherd emails through the production process by working with project managers, writers, designers, and email developers to ensure communications are sent correctly to the right audiences at the right time.
- Oversee the continual testing and improvement of ongoing email communications.
- Report the performance of email communications to stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- 2 years of marketing and communications (or related) experience.
Required Skills:
- Execution of projects; being able to finish what you start, organizing a lot of information; dealing with a lot of requests and tasks without being overwhelmed, Attention to detail; and ensuring exact execution. All t's must be crossed and i's dotted.
- Understand the fundamentals of marketing and communications.
- Be familiar with the capabilities of email marketing systems.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Be able to look at data and reports and discern actionable insights.
- Be self-motivated and willing to solve problems.
Bonus Skills:
- Have a well-rounded understanding of Church callings, how they are organized, and generally what their responsibilities are. Understanding of the Church Handbook, Church policies, etc.
WORTHINESS QUALIFICATION
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
